With Disneyland's Matterhorn Bobsleds about to go down for a major refurbishment, we receive word that, what was until now known as "Untitled Explorer Project" is going to be a film based on the the Matterhorn attraction.The film will be the third inspired by a Disney attraction, following Johnny Depp and the hugely popular Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Eddie Murphy and the not-so-popular Haunted Mansion, and the fourth Disney Parks-inspired movie after John Favreau's upcoming "Magic Kingdom" about events happening after hours at Disneyland.
The Matterhorn movie will follow a group of young explorers through the Alps and the shenanigans that ensue, with hopefully a bobsled ride somewhere in there.
The question now would be: are they going to have 3 or 4 person bobsleds?
